This website was created for a college photography class to showcase the work I did this semester. I rather enjoyed working in the darkroom because it gave me complete control over my work and how it came out. I've always been fond of landscape and capturing fleeting images. Many of my images give a glimpse of the different way I view the world around me. I take photos of this nature in hope of showing others some of the things they may miss on a daily basis. I hope that this gives deeper meaning to simple things like branches and roots. To add to this different perspective, the camera I used for these images really worked. When I first chose the camera, my main concern was a decent priced one that would suit my needs. I ended up with a pretty basic point and shoot camera with a plastic lens. As limiting as it seemed, the distortion that the lens provided really added to my photos.
